“Dakar is adventure, but also friendship”
Hard to find a more consistent rider than David Pabiska on the Dakar. The Czech rider has indeed finished all of his 10 Dakar rallies: 9 on a bike and 1 in a truck as a co-driver. His first appearance was back in 2007 on African soil when he claimed 42nd spot but it was once in South America that he showed all his potential when he entered the Top 20 in 2014 (18th). This enduro specialist will be part of the Barth Racing Team for his 12th Dakar, considering that he was at the start also of the 2008 edition that was cancelled. Alongside with his teammates of the Barth Racing Team, Pabiska faces this new challenge with the same enthusiasm and determination. The target? Crossing the finish line.
“Dakar has always been my dream since I was a child. The highlight is starting podium of Dakar 2007, my first participation. I remember the celebrations for the 30th Dakar, so I'm expecting a lot from the 40th edition. In my life I'm a professional rider and I train for this important appointment. Dakar is adventure, but also friendship and I like the atmosphere. I love riding in the sand dunes, while I'm scared by riding the bike in dark. It was not easy to find the budget and finally I make it. I'm lucky because I can count on the support of many people. My fans support me a lot. They sleeping as much as I can, so they don't sleep”.
