“Top 10 is the next target”
Ondrej 'Klymciw is a familiar face on the bivouac of the Dakar and the Rally scene in general. A good enduro rider in the Czech Republic, Ondrej Klymciw made an impressive Dakar debut back in 2015, finishing in 20th place overall in Buenos Aires and second best rookie. For 2016 he was riding with the Husqvarna team with the target to improve his results but on Stage 9 he crashed heavily. Keen to see if he was capable of racing the Dakar in 2017, he entered the Serres Rally and finished an encouraging 2nd behind the Slovakian rider and Dakar front runner Stefan Svitko. Then, in October Ondrej followed that up with a 13th place at the Morocco Rally, racing against many of the top riders. In 2017 he definitely confirmed his growth. He finished with a superb 12th position, a very strong result.
“I look forward to return of the Dakar with my team that lines up also Gabriela Novotna and Petr Vlcek
After the great 12th position from last tear I aim at improving my results, It's always tough to confirm a good results. After a 12th place, the Top 10 is the next target”.
