Hungarian passion for the Dakar
In terms of Dakar, Janos Desi has seen it all. He first witnessed the event on African soil for the last edition over there, sadly retiring after 12 stages. He also succesfully tried his luck in South America, finishing in 61st position in 2009. For any Dakar competitor, when you've had a first go, it remains in your mind forever, and that was obviously the case of the Hungarian. After a five-year break, he returned to his beloved Dakar to successfully reach the finish again in 54th spot. While 2015 was a year to forget, Desi, a motocross an enduro specialist will be back on his KTM for a fifth Dakar as part of the Kaiser Team. The 38-year-old from Budapest will be looking to again enjoy his adventure and hopefully reach the finish in Buenos Aires.
